What data do we collect?

When you start using our Service, we prompt you, in addition to your e-mail address and name, for gender, age, birth date, height and waistline.

The Exsed sensor collects data on your mobility, immobility and sleep. This data is stored on Exsed server for analysing purposes by our Exsed application installed on your phone.

The Exsed sensor that you start using and your mobile phone are paired up by the Exsed mobile application to ensure that the data collected is really from your sensor.

We collect, store and analyse your data as long as you are using the Service.

Presenting the data to third parties

We do not sell, exchange or deliver by any other method your personal information nor data collected by Exsed sensor to any third party unless unless explicitly requested by our user - excluding those parties that are providing the Service. We do, however, require these parties to comply the privacy policy described here. Personal information may be used for research and development. We do not use this data for marketing purposes.

How do we use the data?

Aforementioned personal data and the data collected by the Exsed-sensor are used to compute figures that reveals your mobile activity and quality, sedentary quantity and sleep quality.

The data mentioned above are then compared to your reference group defined by age and gender. This data is also compared to diabetic and cardiovadscular disease patient figures.

I addition all information collected are used based on user feedback anonymously to enhance the Service.

The data collected and processed of underaged

Terveyspalvelut do not collect any data under 13-year-old children as the Service is targetted to people older than that, and we reserve the rights to prevent using the Service in any form by childer under this age limit.

Data Deletion Requests

Users may request the deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time.

To submit a data deletion request, please contact UKK Terveyspalvelut Oy at info@exsed.com. The request should include sufficient information to identify the user account associated with the data.

Upon receipt and verification of the request, personal data associated with the user account will be deleted or anonymized without undue delay, unless retention is required by applicable law or other lawful obligations.

Where personal data has been irreversibly anonymized so that it can no longer be linked to an identifiable individual, such data may be retained for statistical analysis, scientific research, and service development purposes.
